Granny Square Tree Skirt Red Heart.com |
Yesterday I wrote about a pattern that I couldn't find for my granny square tree skirt I started in the fall of 2012. (Mine is red, green and white only.)Well, I found my pattern last night and it is a free pattern from Red Heart. Just click the link above and it will take you to the Red Heart site to download.
So, I was determined to put away some business papers that have been stacked by my desk. I wanted to clear out the old but for me out of sight is out of mind and I tend to keep things in view. I belong to a local Lions Club that host an annual festival in which I am the festival chairperson for the past few years and it has turned me into a terrible pack-rat in my office area.
While boxing up everything I found the pattern I'd been missing stashed in my important papers. Now all I need to do is find some Christmas yarn and I'll be good to go. I figure I'll have to break down and buy my yarn online which I really don't like doing because I hate to pay high shipping.
The first website I clicked on Roberts Crafts has the yarn I'd like but I'll be spittin' in a bucket before I pay $7.95 for an items that cost less than the shipping. Bummed! But on the bright side and there is a bright side to everything I found an excellent blog at their blog. Maybe I'll wait for a trip to the city...
